Indigenous Medical Students and Junior Medical Officers (PGY 1-4, not on a specialist training program) who are current financial members of AIDA can apply for a funded place to attend the AIDA 2026 Conference on Whadjuk Country this September.

Funding is not guaranteed to all applicants, only financial student and JMO members who fully complete the application process (a two-step process) will be eligible for consideration.

If you are not expecting to receive a stethoscope, we recommend prioritising other funding opportunities including opportunities through your college, workplace, university or supporting community organisations where possible.  Letters of support can be provided by AIDA when requesting funding from these sources.

AIDA's funded opportunities will be prioritised for members attending to receive their stethoscope, subsequent opportunities will be allocated through an internal selection process.

AIDA will support successful applicants with 4x nights accommodation (from 2-6 September), flights from their nearest major airport, on ground transfers to and from Perth airport, and conference registration.
