We are delighted to provide funded opportunities for students and Junior Medical Officers (JMO) with current AIDA memberships to attend the AIDA 2025 Conference on Gadigal Country (Sydney).
Applicants must note that spaces are strictly limited and funding is not guaranteed to all that apply.
Only current JMOs and student AIDA members who fully complete the two-step application process will be eligible for consideration.
JMOs of any post-graduate year can apply, as well as those who have Fellowed in the preceding 12 months and will be receiving their stethoscope at this year's ceremony.
If you are not expecting to receive a stethoscope and are not a student or JMO PGY1, we recommend prioritising other funding opportunities including opportunities through your college, workplace, university or supporting community organisations. Letters of support can be provided by AIDA when requesting funding from these sources.
AIDA's funded opportunities will be prioritised for members attending to receive their graduation or Fellowship stethoscope, subsequent opportunities will be allocated through an internal selection process.
Applicants attending the conference to receive a stethoscope will be required to provide proof of graduation or Fellowship.
To apply for funding, you must be a current AIDA member and able to take leave from your university or employer.
