AIDA FUNDING

JMO (PGY1) and Student Funding OPPORTUNITIES FOR MEMBERS

We are delighted to provide funded opportunities for students and Junior Medical Officers (JMO) Post Graduate Year 1's (PGY1) with current AIDA memberships  to attend the AIDA 2025 Conference on Gadigal Country (Sydney).

Applicants must note that spaces are strictly limited and funding is not guaranteed to all that apply.

Only current JMO PGY1 and student AIDA members who fully complete the two-step application process will be eligible for consideration.

AIDA's funded opportunities will be prioritised for members attending to receive their graduation or Fellowship stethoscope, subsequent opportunities will be allocated through an internal selection process.

If you are not expecting to receive a stethoscope, we recommend to prioritise other funding opportunities including opportunities through your university or college, workplace or supporting community organisations.  Letters of support can be provided by AIDA when requesting funding from these sources.

Applicants attending the conference to receive a stethoscope will be required to provide proof of graduation or Fellowship.

To apply for sponsorship, you must be a current AIDA member and able to take leave from your university or employer.

Successful applicants will receive:

  • Up to 4x nights of accommodation (from 26-30 November)
  • Return flights to Sydney from your nearest major airport
  • Ground transfers in Sydney (SYD airport to hotel, return)
