Through shared stories and critical discussions, this stream is dedicated to amplifying voices, challenging injustices, and driving meaningful action toward self-determination and equity.

Caring for Our Country and Our Environment

Explore the intricately woven and rich tapestry of the land and our people built over thousands of years, and how this is essential to environmental sustainability and the physical and emotional health of our Communities. This stream aims to honour the deep connection to country, upholding traditional knowledge and sustainable practices, which ensures we listen to the land, honour its wisdom, and protect it.

Courageous Collaborations, Thriving Communities

Progress doesn’t happen in isolation, it takes the power of partnerships, collective impact, Community driven solutions and an inclusive workforce. This stream focuses on strengthening networks to build sustainable pathways towards healthy Communities, a culturally responsive healthcare system and a well-supported healthcare workforce. This includes empowering the self-determined future for our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander medical workforce.

Harmonising Mind, Body, and Spirit

Holistic wellbeing goes beyond physical health - it’s about nurturing the whole person and honouring the deep connection between mind, body, spirit and Country. This stream explores the traditional and contemporary healing practices that utilise cultural knowledge, wisdom and expertise to enrich overall health and wellbeing.
